Default Where can I get this part?

Heres a picture of my engine when it was together. When I was replacing the vacume lines I snapped the line and plastic connector off this thing by mistake. I have no idea what it is or where I can get it. Any help is appreciated. (I drew a red arrow to the part. Its a blue cap thing with a small line that connects to the center of it.

That's the brake booster check valve. Mine was broken when I got the car, resulting in an unstable idle (vacuum leaks can do that). You can get one from Pelican, Paragon, etc. for about $15. THe black & blue thing above it is also a chack valve, I think, but I'm not sure of the part #.

On the 951, that check valve is used for the climate control vacuum system

Will the car run without this? I plan on replacing it but I just want to start the car up and see if the timing belt/balance belt job I just did went smoothly.

It'll run... but the idle will be a little rough and will probably hunt a bit up and down (mine did, anyway).

Anyone have a write up on replacing this piece? Nothing found in threads or at clarks-garage.

I haven't checked Haynes yet.

I've been having good luck with 9440nline.com. They are very good and know their parts. Check out their web site, you'll probably see the part. Oh btw I got that na running I was talking about at the gtg in nj. It was good to meet you.

Sorry for the late response; Yes, i did purchase 3 from the dealer. one failed (original) and casued a humming noise from the engine bay. The other two i got for a replacement and one extra as a spare.
