Default FS -Chrome Exhaust, 930S Steering Wheel, Bra,Belts,Hoses, ETC (Was Mystery Muffler)

I just got home with a carfull of 944 stuff from a neighbor who unfortunately had his 87NA declared a total loss after a minor accident. He had been planning on putting a bunch of stuff on his car, so I bought up everything for what I think was a good price. He has moved on to a Ferrari. So I got a 930S steering wheel, 3 new belts, K&N air filter with recharge kit, hoses, brown sunroof cover, brown Lloyd's front mats, black bra, Black/gold Porsche license plate frame, PBR Metal Master front brake pads, etc. I'm not sure if I'm keeping any of it (already have the 930S steering wheel, K&N filter and my car is linen interior) - so let me know if you folks need anything.

The one part that has me stumped - primarily because I know nothing about exhausts - is what do I have here? - see below. Would it fit an 86 and would it be worth putting on my car? Thanks for any help.

I think the ANSA is the stock muffler, looks like that one has a different exhaust tip welded on. I could be waaay off though.

If you're getting rid of the brown floor mats or 930s wheel, I'm interested.

Its an ANSA exhuast, pretty much a step above a muffler shop replacement piece. I think they retail for around $200-250.

Nice move up! 944 - ferarri....
Anyhoo, that appears to be part of a stock(ish) N/A exhaust. It seems to have some kind of ring welded on the rear hanger, but perhaps that can be worked around?
The tip is definately not stock

Yea, he took a step down IMHO to a 328 GTS

Thanks for the info on the exhaust. I bought the genuine chrome tip for my stock exhaust - so I guess I wouldn't be getting anything different by installing this exhaust. So if anyone needs an exhaust and can pick up in San Diego, let me know. That gasket is just attached with a twist tie on the hanger BTW.

I'll take a pic of the steering wheel and the brown carpet tomorrow and post it here as well. Thanks for all the interest.

ansa makes factory parts, i assume they made the factory 944 exhaust, but they do aftermarket too. you either have a) factory exhaust, new or b)upgrade from ansa, should be pretty tame.

That ring is the cat to rear section seal. It appears to be twist tied or zip tied to the hanger so that it does not get lost. As others have said it is an Anza exhaust. It is probably mild steel, versus factory which is stainless. Anza makes replacement exhausts for tons of European cars.

I might be interested in the mats and the bra if it/they are in good shape.

Manning is correct in that is the compression ring or gasket.

OK, I'm taking pics.

This post is about the steering wheel. The wheel is a genuine 968 Club Sport Wheel, not AJUSA knockoff as I first thought (same as 930S wheel but with the hub for a 944/968!). It is part number 968.347.084.00.8YR. The T-Equip price was $440 and may be more now with the Euro being where it is. I put one of my inset colored crested horns on it for the pic but you can have it with either the original embossed leather horn pad or one of my modified horn pads with the inset crest (looks amazing - I've got it on my car - I've written up how to do it yourself in a post a few months ago if you are interested). You can get this wheel on e-bay for $400 + $24 shipping and hope the seller puts the right hub on it for your 944 - see his auction at: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=7976531189. But for you budget conscious Rennlist shoppers.....

I'll sell this one for $290 with the embossed leather horn pad or $330 with my inset colored crest pad or $360 for the wheel with BOTH pads. Shipping would be $19 for Fedex ground for continental US. This will only fit a 85.5 or later car. Paypal is fine. See pics below. Let me know.
