Default Leather pod covers UPDATE Pictures intensive

Hey all,

here are pictures of my sample pod covers.
These are my shop samples and were not made from the Porsche leather Rob and I are getting. The leather will match your factory interiors, I'm just posting these pictures to show the craftsmanship.

Before anyone funny points it out, yes the black one will have holes for the buttons I'm just trying different methods and I am not done experimenting yet.

Same for the insert for the key. I received conflicting information as to how Porsche handled that one. I have pictures of Heinrich factory pod where the insert is glued in. Others tell me that theirs is sewn in. Either way, I will duplicate what Porsche did.

I will email each one who told me they wanted a pod today. I will need confirmation of the order and of course payment
Once these confirmations are in, I will be able to finalise the leather order with Rob.

Again, the price of the leather cover alone is $325.00 + shipping
I offer to install for $75.00
I do have a couple of pods on hand, so I can send you a covered pod and you send me yours once you have made the switch.

After installing a few of these, I can tell you that $75 is a bargain and would strongly suggest that unless you have some experience with this type of work, you take me up on the offer.

If anyone as any questions, please email me at champagn@stx.rr.com

Paul,

Sent you a email just now. You've got cash

Outstanding craftmanship . I'll take one black leather pod with silver stitching.

Regards Rich

That's very impressive work, Paul! And it's also interesting to see what can be done with contrasting stitching. Great job!!!

They're beautiful.

What adhesive are you using?

Thank you all for your encouraging comments.

By the way, shipping for a completed pod will be $25.00 including insurance.
And I accept payments through PayPal.

Mark: I use a 3M adhesive that is rated for high temperature.

Shark Attack: this already is a group buy. And, as far as I can tell, my price is $175 lower than anything comparable and available right now. That is still not a good enough deal for you?

Just rattleing your cage..... are you a rennlist sponsor? does that question make my price go up?
