Question 987S Blinking Side Marker Lights (with turn signals)

I know that there is a hack for the 986 to make the side marker lights blink with the turn signals. Does anyone know if this hack works with 987S?

There is good news & bad re the 986 side marker hack on 987:

The bad: It won't work because Porsche now uses a system buss & front lamp controller to control
each lamp individually; lifting the marker ground & attaching it to a turn signal positive wire won't
provide sufficient filaments to ground through & light the bulb.

The good: Any willing dealer can reprogram "CODE NUMBERS" to return the side marker to it's
turn signal european function, which I believe more important, considering you can't see the
front lights from the side of the car.

Happy Motoring!
