Second gear pop out issue and aftermarket warranties
Does anyone know how the aftermarket warranties deal with the second gear pop out issue? Anyone try to get a transmission fixed through an aftermarket warranty?

I had EasyCare and tried to solve my second gear popping out issue (amongst a few other problems) right after I bought the car from a dealer 2 years back.
To make a long story short, I negotiated with the dealer to pay half of my repairs and the warranty to pay the other half since they each claimed the other was responsible for the problems. Tons of teeth were pulled in the process but I did not have to mention the word "lawyer".
Now that my warranty is about to expire I need to find one that will allow me to do some mods.
