Default AutoX Sunday Sept 2nd UPDATE!!!!

https://rennlist.com/forums/racing-and-drivers-education-forum/367647-altamont-autox-sunday-sep-2nd.html

While at the PCA altamont autocross last Sunday I met a guy who organizes autocrosses at the altamont a few times a year......he just set one up for Sunday Sept 2nd.....the details are in the link above!

It sounds like he is planning a more open course, which should favor the larger more powerful cars like the 928...... If I can make it (depending on when my house closes and I move in) I plan on going!!

It is an open event, so there will be all kinds of cars present....so it would be a great chance to show some newer "sports" car drivers what the old 928 can do!

The 40mph wind pretty much eliminates all sweating.

Charlie...not yet! I've been too disappointed, (DNF at an Auto Cross...sheeesh ) . I have purchased the products to work on it tomorrow. Hopefully, everything will shake out for the best. Remember...I also have the the 82 to work on.

Afraid I'll be in Minnesota that weekend, maybe Road America. It looks like Jason won his own event last time, unless it was a different Jason.

Sounds kewl Brian. Thanks for the heads-up on these events.

Still have some pending issues to iron out with Bill's help (as usual), before I'd be road ready, if I can just make some time from the chaos at work.

Besides, it might be a great opportunity to bring my son out in the Blue Car for a Father-Son outing!!

Must be a different Jason, since the promoter drives a Dodge neon turbo....

I'll be there, probably spectating. I put a note in Norcal News and events schedule and will send out an email today.

Hope to see you guys at the Coffee and Car Talk tomorrow night!
