Just curious. I paid $96.00 yesterday and that seemed fair for a PCA DE. The same shop did it for free before.

I pay $0, at both the dealer (where I never go), and at the shop where I typically go.

If they did it for free before, why are they charging you now? My shop does it for free as well.

ZERO. Surely the organizers of the event your attending have lined up at least one local shop who will do it no charge. PCA regions usually have this.

Times are hard? I should have called them on it looking back.

no charge to PCA members. I usually have something else done at the same time.

Reminds me of a story.
We are inside a house of ill repute in Munich and my friend says "I understand how much it is to go up the stairs. but how much is it to get back down the stairs?"

Great trip

Free
Of course, I've suggested to my mechanic, that instead of my usual annual bills, maybe I should just pay for his daughter's freshman year tuition when the time comes....

It usually runs me about 1/2 hour of time at between $75 to $95/hr.

I always have to pay for mine (jewelry, trips, dinner etc, etc...)
