Default Some center cap love...

Picked up a set of center caps locally and had at it!

Klean strip auto-paint remover (wicked stuff here - use properly)

Lots of tape, model paint, touch up, and clear coat...

Before, stripped, final:

Good center caps make the car. Well done. My Dad loves to take old caps and fix them up and he is GREAT at it as well.

How well does the Duplicolor silver match the factory finish of the wheels?

I can only reference what's on the 15's I have now and the 16's I bought... a tad bit lighter but I'd really have to see it in natural light. I think these have more of a metallic finish versus a flat silver...

Looks great!

A few years ago I bought some Porsche 356 hood badges and attached them to my Fuchs centercaps by drilling a single hole in each centercap. The locknut keeps them secure along with a drop of gorilla glue.

Steve how much you want the set. I would like to try it myself but want to use an old set to paint and keep the originals as a spare. Still looking for a and set of caps if anyone has a set they would like to sell. Haven't checked the junk yards yet as would rather see if a fellow rennlist member has and old set
