Default Parting out 88 944 S, near MINT 16" Phonies, LSD trans, slicks,+more! UPDATED w/ PICS

Sad to say I am parting out my 88 944 S with 190K miles. Suffered the usual timing belt failure, 4 bent exhaust valves. Fortunately the chain tensioner and chain remained intact so the head could be usable after a lot of machine work. It's not in very good shape, the cam caps need re-boring and the cams look a bit worn.

All prices are before shipping

Cylinder head, cams, lifters, cam cover, headers (1 small crack) - $100 SOLD
Chain tensioner w/ 5K miles on it - $50 SOLD
S LSD transaxle, slight grind going into 4th gear if you don't finesse it, has the desirable 5th gear ratio, Swepco fluid - $300 SOLD
Almost completely mint 16" Phone Dials (7's and 8's) w/ Nitto Extreme Performance Tires, at least 90% tread remaining, refurbished in Germany by previous owner. One tiny tiny nick of curb rash and one broken valve stem - $500
Fair condition 15" Phone Dials w/ BF Goodrich tires - $100 SOLD
8 unused 15" Racing slicks, I've never even looked at what kind they are - $75/set SOLD
Clutch slave cylinder w/ under 1K miles on it - $30
Starter - $50
Timing Belt auto/spring-tensioner - $50
Near new non-OEM water pump 5K miles on it - $75 SOLD
Tail lights - $80
Airbox (2 cracks) w new-ish air filter, air flow meter (good), and plastic intake tube that goes under the header panel - $50
Intake manifold, J-boot, throttle body, TPS - $75
Idle air control/stabilizer (specific to the S) w/ under 1K miles on it - $100
Fans - $25
S DME - $75 SOLD
S Ignition "igniter" - $40
Distributor cap, rotor, and Beru spark plug wires (under 5K on all of them) - $80
Coil - $25
Fuel rail with injectors (definitely need new o-rings and probably cleaning/flow-matching) - $20
Reference sensor under 5K on it - $30
Steering wheel + airbag - $40
Gauge cluster + dash piece that surrounds it (fuel gauge works intermittently)- $80 SOLD
Rebuilt torque tube w/ three hundred miles on it. Has the CNC-ed Delrin bushings from Jon Moeller's group buy in the spring and new bearings. One of the bolt holes in the bellhousing is cracked. - $40
Passenger non-sport seat, decent condition - $50

I will ship anything you want, but I would prefer local pick-up or delivery on the big items (Wheels, Transaxle, Torque Tube, Cylinder Head). I am currently at school in Philadelphia and all of the parts are at home near Boston. I can deliver whatever you want if you are anywhere in between Philly and Boston during the Thanksgiving break, or I can have family members ship the smaller stuff right away.

Attaching pictures in a minute after I re-size them.

I've sent mark a PM on the cylinder head and transaxle, just waiting on a response Gonna be up that way this month anyway, so pickup isnt an issue. Consider them sold.

MPD - returned your PM.

It's a real pain re-sizing pics, just let me know what you want pics of and I'll email you the full size ones. I'll see if I can get up some of the wheels though, they are REALLY nice.

Also: The easiest way to reach me quickly is to email me at nickerson.ross at gmail.com

Small pics of wheels, full size available on request. Just to clarify, the broken valve stem on one of the wheels does not affect its functionality. The tire holds air perfectly.

Here's the only pic I have of the slicks, and pics of the 15" phonies. I can ask my dad to take a closer look at the slicks to see what width and brand they are.

Steering wheel is not that great, fair amount of wear around the edges. It is black. The airbag section is mint.

I honestly have no idea....they are Hoosier slicks, does anyone know the difference or know how I can tell?

One set has sold, so there is one set left.
