Default New paint for my Electric 928

Heres my new paint job for my 92ev. Its still a ten foot paint job untill I get the layers of clear wet sanded and polished. They told me I have to wait up to 60 days for that.
Enjoy.

That should stop any questions about the plug in the headlight.

well, if you are going to do that to a 928, you should revel in it, so I vote "not too much".

OMG is that real, or did you photoshop that right?

nice rear fender skirts, i saw those on an old Packard. I guess the Honda Insight had them more recently. I guess it goes with the whole electric car thing.

Actually i was thinking of building a 928 engine that ran on E85. I think you need to have specific fuel lines and injectors as well as SS valves. Not sure what else, that could be my contribution to a cleaner world and still get to drive a P-car.

Very cool! I hope you can bring it to one of our local events some time! Would you have enough range to get to Berkeley and back for Sharks in the Park? If not, how about our hopefully soon go-kart race in Fremont?

HOLY CRAP!

I was trying to read the specs of your car, but thats like reading another language. I have no idea what any of that stuff is

very cool car though

HA HA, does this make any sense to anyone else?

Motor Advanced DC FB-4001A Series Wound DC
9"
Drivetrain clutchless drive, mounted to bell housing and torque tube.
Controller DC Power Systems Rapter 1200
Batteries 26 Hawker pc1500, 12.00 Volt, Lead-Acid, AGM
Going for power and range. I want it all !
System Voltage 156 Volts
Charger Zivan NG3
Charge curve finishes with an 15 volt pulse for up to 6 hours every cycle. Think ill put a timer on it and only let it run the full balance charge once a week or so. I also use Lee Hart designed zeener voltage clampers to protect the batteries that reach full charge first.

Its cool, car specs, that I TOTALLY DONT UNDERSTAND! awesome project!

Karting in Fremont sounds like fun. Should have the range for that. Berkley is out of the question with my current battery pack. Maybe in a few months when I lose another 900lbs. of lead and go lithium, Berkley would be allot more posible. Let me know about the Karting date, im an ex racer so I love Karts!
