How much for an indie oil change in 996?
Just a quick question, how much is the fair price range for an indie oil change for a 996 in the Northeast ? -- Tks & beFast

I do it myself....takes 1/2 hour and costs about 85 bucks. I've heard that some guys pay 300 bucks.

buy your own oil [walmark] and filter[online store] and take it to your indy.. thats the 2nd cheapest way to get the oil changed

I just paid $118 at my indi in Dallas. At that price, it's not worth doing myself.

My local Porsche dealership just charged me $120.00 for an oil change. I thought that was good. My normal indipendent charged me $89 on the Carrera 4S.

$125 out the door. hourly rate is something like $85-90. $200 is WAY too high.
