997 GT3 Front Brake Ducts and CG Lock installed
While putting in PFC 97s and changing the oil this weekend, I finally got around to installing some other parts that have been sitting in my garage for a bit. I installed a set of 997GT3 front brake ducts and a CG Lock. There is a huge difference in size between the old and new brake ducts and it was a quick replacement. The the CG Lock was also a quick install. It does appear to really hold me in a lot better with it secured than without it. I can't comment on benefits until I get the out to track/AX but from the looks of it these parts are pretty good bang for the dollar (ducts $8.34 each and the CG lock $35 from a Rennlister).

Ironically I just put those very same ducts on my car this weekend as well. we'll see how much of an improvement there is on Thursday...or if they get knocked off before I even get to the track
As for the CG lock...wife bought me one last year and I have to say after using it I have grown to dislike it quite a bit with power seats. With it's design you can only lock the lap portion of your belt...but if you do the whole move-the-seat-back-and-recline, lock the belt manually, and then move-the-seat-bac-into-position trick (didn't know how to better describe it sorry!) you'll pull yourself back into the locked belt and have a locked shoulder and lap restraint.
However, my brother who has fully manual seats found the manual way too hard and has since adopted my CG lock and really enjoys it.

I have the ducts on as well. They scrape more then my front spoiler does.
I also have power seats and use the same trick as
AudiOn19s explained. It works great though if you don't have power seats the CG lock would be easier.

I wanted the cup ones originally, but the price was much more that $10. I'll see how the regular GT3 ones hold up first. If they actually last, I may try the cup ones next
