I was thinking of selling my Turbo-look for a 930...
until I took these pictures after I got her all waxed up. Now I am undecided. It is such a beautiful car. Anyway, I posted the pictures so that you could all enjoy these classic lines.

As an owner of a 930 told me recently the cost of a engine rebuild is more than the going price of some '80s 911, so if you have deep pockets then go for it. I'd be OK with Turbo-look tho, then again I like nice rear ends! (see my avatar)

Now that it's clean looking dump it and get the car you have been dreaming about. A REAL TURBO!! Forget about looking like one, that's like making a Fiero look like a Lamborghini. Ok it has a Porsche crest on the hood but it's not the same, different brakes, different suspension, different motor and much more horsepower.
You won't believe the rush. No other car will give you that thrill over and over again.
You know the most exciting part about flying in an airplane? It's the takeoff, being pushed back into your seat hard to the point that it becomes difficult to resist. That's the same feeling behind a turbo car, especially a big turbo, oh ya and very reliable. As for deep pockets, not much different than a regular 911.
I'll take you for a blast in my car and I bet, no I guarantee you'll be shopping for a turbo come spring time. So shine her up and put the "For Sale" sign in the window and start your quest for the perfect 930. Trust me you'll never look back.
Just think you'll never have to say "turbo look" again.

LOL Rob. Actually, I have an RX-7 twin turbo so I know of the power that you speak of. It is amazing, and I imagine the torque of the 930 is even a step above that. I will probably post an ad for it and gauge the interest.

or you could try a twin turbo!
you know what they say...once you go turbo you can never go back!
Justin, your car looks great btw. Is that the Mercury Mistake in the reflection?
for the rx7 you will probably do better in spring especially given the current stock market activity.

This car was converted from a Targa to Turbo-look cabriolet in the late '80's by a conversion company in California. The brakes and suspension are also Turbo, the engine is an '86 3.2, and the transmission is a 915 5 speed.
