Default 1975 Turbo for sale

Gentlemen,

I am selling my '75 Turbo #930 570 0274

First year for the Turbo
#274 of 284 hand built "Homologation" Turbos
1 of 15 RHD '75 Turbos
1 of 1 '75 Turbos in Salmon Metallic with White interior

This '75 Turbo #0274 which is a documented two owner car that was specially ordered by a wealthy American living in HongKong. The car was then sold to the second owner, also an American stationed in HongKong, in 1992. The second owner brought the car to the states in 2002 when transfered back. I purchased #0274 about a year ago and have been driving it to Cars & Coffee all summer.

The car was certainly a special order car;

Salmon Metallic
White interior
Porsche graphics (Crazy looking)
Passenger mirror (which is really the Drivers mirror on RH cars)
RH drive
Sunroof

I have attached the following;
1. the Certificate of Authenticity from Porsche
2. four (4) photos in .pdf format of the car while in Hong Kong in 1975
3. three photos of car in current condition

I am told by several reputable Porsche sources that this is the ONLY example known in this color combination. The car has been repainted but has matching number motor and no accidents.

$175k or trade for low, low mileage 997 GT2

Sold ....... Funds have been received !

This car is going to a total enthusiast that already owns a nice '76 (#0061). It turns out that he had been posting "WTB '75 Turbo"on Pelican and just about every other forum! I rarely wander over to the bird so I never knew.

Buyer is already interviewing several shops for quotes on restoration. It will be awesome to see this car returned to its incredible OE color !

Congratulations!

Baron, you don't want a 997GT2...honestly, they are boring cars. Fast/competent/capable/reliable, yes for sure...but they are just another modern, soleless, isolated, insulated car... I love my car, but it does not do anything for me...(just IMO, I don't mean to stir up crap here...)

I sold my Riviera Blue GT3RS 4.0 and I regret it EVERY day !

It too was Fast/competent/capable/reliable but it was far from just another modern, soleless, isolated, insulated car ..... just ask any cop in Baltimore !

this is how a sale should be done
enthusiast to enthusiast
buyer seller knows the item
no bs
and if i ever want early turbo's (which i know nothing about), baron would be the person to buy from.

can't wait to see the restoration and result.

congrats to both.

Well done by all sides. When the early cars sell for this much, the tide raises all boats in the 930 family.

Thanks for keeping these cars relevant!
