I am on the hunt for a new DD and figured I'd try my luck here! I just sold my 2016 WRX and looking to replace with an B8 generation 2012 Audi A4 Avant wagon. 2012 is my preferred model year due to known issues with 2009-2011 2.0T motors.

I have $27k cash in hand ready to buy a *well-maintained* example.

I am not in a hurry to buy and want to find the right car, so ideally car should meet the following criteria:

- known history and not from a corrosive climate area (i.e. upper East coast)
- loving owner w/ proper maintenance performed *on time* with records
- no major accidents or body/paint work unless well documented and done professionally

Car does NOT have to be perfect, but obviously anything wrong with it would need to be disclosed and addressed in the purchase price. More or less, I am looking for that single-family-owned cream puff that needs to find a new, loving home.

Would $27,000 cash buy you that one owner, non east coast, well maintained and rare creme puff avant? I also have consdered this thing but not sure if that's enough though?

I believe it would based on some very nice 2011 Avants that I had been following that sold in the low $20k's and what KBB says I should be paying. I'd still have to get pretty lucky though just to find one in great shape from a private owner. If you have one and think it's worth more than $27k, shoot me a PM and let's chat!
