2014 specboxster spec tires?
Noticed that spec miata, spec 944 and honda challenge have/are moving to RRs, any thing in the works for specbox?

The Toyo RR has been proposed as the potential new spec tire for SPB across Nasa and PCA for 2014.

For PCA, I believe that it's been proposed as an "alternate" spec tire.

The Toyo RR would be a great choice for a Spec tire. Fast, inexpensive (relative) and 30% longer life than others in the category that are a molded DOT tire.

RA-1 for 2014, RR to be tested when tires become available and considered for 2015

scratch that...current proposal is Toyo RR will be the spec tire while allowing racers to burn their RA-1s in limited use for a short term.

The new 17" RR sizes have been ordered they are due to be released Dec 6th, we should have them right around the 13th or 16th ish.....
