Wow, stunning as usual.

Maybe you could make a trip to the East Coast to take some pictures of mine and teach me how to take pictures while you're at it!

How much PS work do you do on these shots?

These shots are straight out of my camera. I am not a huge PS fan, mostly because I don't know how to use it very well, but I also think it's cheating

Great pics; must be tough to decide which car to drive each day.

Would you provide some background on the Spyder's blue partner...

Great pictures what kind of camera are using?

Breath-taking! I love your interior.

I think I might skip on getting a 911 in the future and get into a Spyder.

I am using a Nikon D80 camera with a Sigma 24-70mm lens.

Thanks for all the kind words.

The Spyder's blue partner is my Father's 62 Twin Grille Roadster!

You'll have to forgive my ignorance but how much different is the lens your using compared to the standard 18 - 105mm lens that would come with a D90? I realize that skill plays a major role but I'm curious how much affect a lens has.

Do you and you're dad go out for drives? Do you ever switch cars and what is yours and his impression between the two cars?

I think the lens would be hard to compare against yours. I think Nikon also makes a 24-70. I am still a pretty amateur photographer so I am not sure what the exact differences would be. I think typically a lens with a shorter range is going to be sharper at some focal lengths than a lens with the really wide range , but not always. I just try to experiment a lot and get some good results every once in a while.

As for comparing the 2 cars, my father just got his running this past week and is still dialing in the engine and calibrating it to his liking. We will definitely go out on drives in the future. I think the main thing that stands out is how the cars are made. I think the roadster dripping wet may weight around 2000lbs. It's made of all sheetmetal and there really isn't any plastic on it. I love how simple the dash is. The gauges are like pieces of jewelry to look at it. It only has the bare bones necessities and definitely gives a true drivers feel when driving. Also, with the weight in the rear, you can really throw the rear end into corners much like 911's.

Thanks for sharing. Beautiful cars! And there's proof again how fantastic tan interiors go with a white car!!! Or any exterior color for that matter.

Awesome cars, lovely pics and great comps with your environment. I actually prefer the 356...great color combo and just something to putt around in and taking in the sights. The Spyder is pretty sweet too!

And BTW...clean your camera's sensor, it's dirty.

Is the 356 color "Royal Blue"? Looks like my race car color.

Mile,
Dynamite combination! I really like Boxster Spyders, and I have a '62 Roadster myself. See if you can figure out what my username means.
Few quick questions for you: what are those bumper guards, what seats are in there, and is the wood wheel an Les Leston or a slotted-spoke VDM?
