Pretty much all software for 3D printers will recognize STL files, you can also view it with a 3D software on a a computer, such as Print 3D for ex. STL file contains both left and right parts.

Just look in my Spyder today and I am missing both plugs as well. Seems there's an opportunity for an aftermarket solution.

Too limited numbers for an “industrial” solution. Go for the 3D printing option.

I’ll take a look at printing this off tonight on my printer in PLA. If it looks good, I’ll let y’all know, I should be able to run a few sets off, no worries.

Okay, the print was successful. I haven't compared them to mine but if anyone wants to try them out, pm me. First come, first serve.

Very cool Scott, thanks for doing that!

I’m lucky mine are still both in place but it’s nice to know there’s a solution in case one does go missing.

Alivchak is the one who deserves the praise, he did the hard part. I merely took his stl file, converted it to gcode and printed it. I am sending couple of sets out and once we get a confirmation that they need no further refinement, then we should be good to go for providing these to anyone who might need one.

I'm hoping we can maybe start a catalog of parts files that can be 3-D printed for the Spyder somewhere.

So I got curious... went out and looked at my car. As it turns out, I am missing the drivers side piece. Lol

Here's the factory passenger side piece next to the one I printed.

I took some 150 grit to the caps I printed for myself to see if that would make them look a bit more like the stock caps. I think if I went up to 300 grit, it might get really close, but I was satisfied with this for now.

To the guys that I sent caps to, two minutes of sanding with 150 grit on an orbital sander will make them look a lot better, imo. Let me know how it works for you.

Did you print these in nylon or TPU?

Does anybody here in EU has the opportunity of printing and shipping it (MP welcome)?
Happy to pay for the printing and shipping to Italy. In these days here it's pretty complicated

I printed the first ones up using some old Hatchbox PLA I had sitting around as a test run, but honestly, I’m not sure I’d switch at this point. PLA should be fine but I’ll see what happens when it gets hot out this summer. Nylon would be overkill, imo.

To update this, I'm one of the guys @sh944 generously sent a set of end caps to. Put them on and they look great! What have you guys been using to tack/glue them in place, anything in particular? Thanks again for sending these!
