Cross Turismo world premiere "in less than 8 weeks"
"The Taycan Cross Turismo is coming. As the motoring world awaits the global premiere of the all-electric Cross Utility Vehicle, Porsche Brand Ambassador aussiegrit has been behind the wheel of a development car. Here's what he said: “Phenomenal first drive for me with this beauty. Drives like a Porsche, feels like a Porsche, smells like a Porsche. It's a proper sports car with even more space and ground clearance now. Expect the World Premiere of the all-new Taycan Cross Turismo to take place in less than eight weeks. In dealerships as early as this summer. I can't wait. It's the perfect car for the Australian outback and the German Autobahn.” Stay tuned for more ..."

A taycan with more cargo space and better rear headroom. What's not to like!?!
(hides before I can see the inevitable price hike, lol).

How will this affect the Taycan's sales? This almost seems like a repeat of the Model 3-> model Y progression. We may see the Cross Turismo overtake the sales of Taycan by a large margin eventually?

Sorry it was one of those link within a link things on Instagram that I guess didn't come through when I did the copy/paste.
Yeah I am *really* looking forward to seeing one of these in the flesh. I love my Panamera Sport Turismo but if my dog can fit happily in the hatch in the Taycan CT then it may be tough for me to resist a trade.
Hmm. Well, if the Panamera is any guide, then no. Here in the US, Panamera Sport Turismo sales are super low as a % of Panamera sales. So low that some people were wondering whether they'd continue to sell it here. In Europe there's actually a reasonably high take rate but not the majority by a long shot (25% IIRC).

A short video of the T-CT out on the road. He says it's camouflaged which seems very clear around the headlights.

My guess based on Panamera ST's (lack of) popularity in the US though is that most won't see it that way.

I'd rather it didn't have higher ride height- we've had several Avants over the years and loved them. Unfortunately not a big fan of the Allroad but at least you can get body coloured cladding. It's not like you are going "off roading" in an electric car... maybe just a new RS6 avant... (though that is heavy enough to be electric!!)

Interior ??
Any speculation on the INTERIOR?
Will the seats be similar to the Concept car?
Will the rear seats fold flat....slide forward....offer a "pass through" design as in the concept car?
Will the roof differ from the Taycan Sedan (see concept roof design)?
Will the rear cargo offer standard or optional rubberized flooring?
