The car looks great, but I have never owned a BMW that I can sit in without a back ache after a 45 minute drive. I find them to be paramount to a torture chamber.

Why did they put up such big grills on an EV?

They have a ton leftover from unwanted M3/4's so they have use them somehow.

The i3 and i8 were cars of the future. These new i's are a joke.

Not bad specs but it's atrocious looking. Would much rather pick a model 3 over that

Very derivative styling. If I saw one on the road, my first guess would be Infiniti, until I saw the garish grille! BMW has lost its way...

Zero effort by BMW on this one - par for the course with their recent designs. It’s like they are actively trying to push away previous brand loyalists like myself.

They are cornering the market on goofy looking entry level luxury cars.

Latest attempt by a manufacturer to release a clown car?

There will be some BMW Fanbois who will put down a deposit to be first in line, but I agree - as far as the masses are concerned, it is a sales fail.

Sorry it was the iX at $85k - still, a lot for this disgusting monster.
