Weird 2023 Taycan GTS dates on my TYD Portal...anyone else have this too?
So my 2023 Taycan GTS went into production on 7/26 with an estimated completion date and ready for transport of 8/26 (I thought the factor is closed in August for vacation?) and arrives at the Port of Emden on 9/2 so all cool there. Then this is where things get weird, it shows as the On Vessel date as 11/4 with a PEC LA delivery date of 12/9. The 5 weeks to from on the boat to PEC LA seems fine but my car is going to be sitting at the port for 2 months? Why, to get the EPA cert? Anyone else have this big 2+ month gap between arrival at Emden to getting on the boat?

Never used Tyd before and not sure if it updates with actual dates after the build starts, but my freeze date was 7/29 and the eta shows 10/28. I was told I would have a December delivery so I figured the tyd dates were off.

Could always ask your SA to see if they have more info.

Doesn't Emden port still have a problem with the striking workers? The resulting backlog would must certainly lead to unexpected and lengthy delays.
As an aside, I can't believe you're getting a 2023 able the same time I'm to receive my 2022. Face palm.

We are in a weird time, it was looking like I was going to get my 2023 Taycan before my 2022 Touring arrived until the Touring got completed and the dates moved up.

I only happened into it a couple months ago, but via TYD, this car has endured the most insane delays I've ever seen.

I was in the same position last year. It only takes a week to build the car and then 2 days to get to Emden. And yes they do shut the factory down for holiday and re-tooling for the new model year. Going from memory, but TYD used to update on Friday's. My TYD was accurate until it got to Emden and sat in Emden for a few weeks not getting on a ship when I knew others were getting loaded. Then it was accurate (plus Marine tracker to track the ship) all the way to to the port. Actually, I knew the ship had left Jax before TYD. Then it sat in Jax port with date to dealer changing to 3 weeks from original date.

And yes, still a port worker strike impacting shipping, still a shortage of ships for transport, and also 12v battery supply impacting Taycan specifically.
Lets hope they even stay on this schedule. Good luck to everyone waiting.

Their internal systems are a mess according to my local SA.
My delivery date is now Nov 2nd but I hope to get it sooner as things started to move again (based on other recent deliveries). We'll see.
There was also a major strike in most of the german ports in August, messing up with an already messed up logistic

Mine is still ¨In Production¨, since last week, witch make no sense... I think we are in the same batch so I'm hoping that mine is also waiting for transportation.
