For Sale

Why is it for sale?
This was my wife's first experiment with a two-pedal car. (Seriously.) She enjoyed it, but prefers her automotive experience to feature three pedals when at all possible.

Folks, money and title have crossed paths. Absent a meteor strike or some other truth-is-stranger-than-fiction occurrence the 981 is going to a new home.

Why wouldn't BAT allow you to list it? It wasn't Pinto enough for them?

After running out of curse words in three languages, I did a search of previous Cayman auctions and not a single one was PDK. Therefore I'm left with the conclusion that when it comes to Caymans BaT screeners are transaxle racists.

Marking this as sold even though it’s still in the garage.
Hopefully that will cut down on the PMs wherein the authors have not read this thread.

Looks like the end:
And yes: I checked the Z28. It's not leaking.

Hey now...
Apparently enclosed trailer rates have more-than doubled in the last year.
In this case, at least it won't be cross-loaded one or more times on the way to its new home. It will be on the same truck the whole way. The driver/loader knew his business and was a good guy.

While I’m guessing you are just saying this in jest. I’m not a corner cutter by any means and keep all of my vehicles in tip top shape. Not sure about you but I wasn’t (wife wasn’t) willing to spend an extra $700 just to have the car show up clean. Shipped a decent amount of cars over the years some enclosed and some open and have never had a problem with any of them. Prices, at least for me, have jumped over the past couple years. I paid almost the same amount to ship this open as I did on my Ferrari four years ago enclosed (from California). The car is driven on the street at the end of the day unprotected.
