Listing for one more week and then I’ll part it out.

It’s a 1990 944 S2 cabriolet that was totaled and then purchased back from the insurance company by the owner.  The car was parked for three years and was then sold to the PO’s relative.  He planned to repair it at his body shop, but the clutch failed and he parked it a year ago.

The car has a salvage title and no key.

The engine is free and the belts are intact.  We disconnected the ignition switch from the steering column and the engine turns over.  Seems to have good compression. The gas smells bad, so I haven’t attempted to start it. There is no oil in the water or water in the oil. 

The only part that is missing is the right front fender. there is damage to the right headlight, the hood, the windshield, the headlight panel, and the right apron/upper rail.  No suspension or steering damage. 

It’s silver with a navy top and interior and has a decent set of D90’s with Michelin tires. Cheesy stainless exhaust tip and K&N-type cone filter also. This is a 944 track car gold mine, with a 3 liter 16 valve engine, real brakes, and limited slip diff.

I bought this car so I could build a 944 track car, but my plans have changed.  Asking $4500.
