I owned one of the Camaros used the year after. Although it wasnt the Porsche it was still so cool to own . All my racing hero's drove it . This car here will be a great investment for somebody . They rarely come up for sale and never go down in value .

We confirmed that the seats, including the jump seat are how they were set up, however the headrest was an add on..

yes, those are the correct seats. the head rest was added for the Daytona race I believe.

Why? A great site, but I'd say the majority of 'important' cars that trade hands don't go through an auction site.

When I worked at Southpointe Porsche+Audi in Sarasota, FL back in 1975 we sponsored John Tunstall in this car (#54 back then) at the Sebring 12 Hour race. Even though it ended up DNF due to a failed camshaft after 97 laps it was a memorable experience.
