Sold Pending Pickup: '88 928 S4, 5 speed for sale. 145,158 miles, Indischrot Red over black interior, excellent condition. RMB muffler. Recent work since June 2020: new water pump, timing belt, rebuilt tensioner, new rollers, etc. Rebuilt LH computer. Cam timing set to factory specs. New spark plugs, plug wires, air filter. New shifter bushings front and back, new tranny mounts, rebuilt axles. New battery Sept 2020. Many more things repaired/replaced, needs a few minor things, list available upon request. Air pump is removed, is included in sale. The paint is showing road chips and scratches after 33 years, but overall is in very good shape. Same with the interior, scuffs and wear, but in overall very good shape. Rear qtr interior leather is pulling away.

Suggested Future Repairs & Maintenance:

• Replace tires.
• Diagnose ABS warning light (brakes work great otherwise). Underdash ABS relay replaced, needs further diagnosis – I suspect it is the ABS wheel sensors/wiring.
• Consider refinishing or replacing camshaft sprockets.
• Replace windshield.
• Heater blower fan only runs on hi speed setting - resistor pack needs cleaning or replacement.
• A/C service (was working before was put in storage).
• Brake pads sensors not installed/connected (they are notoriously difficult to install without breaking them, many do not install them and instead monitor brake pad wear visually.  
• Driving light (inner) bulb passenger side out.
• Replace stereo speakers.
