The build sheet does not seem to match the photos in some aspects.
Build sheet states “Adaptive Sport Seats”, the photos show 8-way supple leather seats.
Build sheet states “cashmere/black leather seats”, the photos show only black seats.
Build sheet shows “cocoa floor mats”, photos show black.
Built sheet does not state yellow seat belts. Were they added later?
What’s the deal with the seats and the floor mats?
Do you have the original window sticker to factually document the original equipment?

The car was originally posted with an incorrect vin. That vin belonging to another similar car that we had for sale. This options list was also from that other car. A copy/paste error on my part.

I visited the factory in June of 1998, and did a full tour. There were several customers taking tourist delivery of their 993 Turbo S’s. The guys in the engine department were still building 993 Turbo motors for Motorsports. The assembly line was all 996 at the time, but definately still aircooled activities going on. In retrospect it was actually a very unique time to be in the factory.

I owned a 1998 Carrera S within 50 serial number of this car. Also a tip.
It also had coco mats from the factory. I met someone who was with Porsche when the 993's came to an end. He said many of the last 100 cars that were not customer orders ended up with unique parts. They were in fact emptying the parts shelves for the 996.
I also had door speakers w/ special grills and trim on the shifter button and e brake handle that was tossed in. Newer ordered yet on the original car.

It's a combination of things. The fact that this is the last Air-Cooled 993 street-car delivered to the U.S., it being a former Seinfeld car, it being an immaculate 993 with a special spec. This is a collectable car with a great story behind it that just so happens to be in mint condition.

You see, you know how to *take* the allocation, you just don't know how to *hold* the allocation. And that's really the most important part of the allocation: the holding. Anybody can just take them.
