Description:
Hey everyone! Excited to help a family friend sell their gorgeous 1988 911 Targa. He is the original owner of the car and it currently sits with only 44,826 miles.
Here is some info from him on the car including all recent work done:
I acquired the Targa in early April, 1988, from Bill Jacobs Porsche in Naperville. I have the window sticker, original title certificate, owner’s manual and warranty book, 3 sets of keys, tool kit, inflator kit for the collapsible spare, and a Porsche factory Certificate of Specs. The car has less than 45,000 certified miles, always garaged, stored winters inside under cover on my lift.
Anticipating sale, a thorough inspection and recent service, performed this August at Golz Motors in Deerfield IL included an oil change, battery replacement, a/c service, and replacement of a faulty DME relay; earlier, at 44,022 miles, Golz updated the a/c system, flushed the braking system, did a valve adjustment, replaced oil return tubes, replaced gaskets, replaced ignition components including sensors, spark plugs, distributor cap and wires, serviced the air and fuel filters, changed transmission oil, replaced hood and trunk lid struts.
All interior courtesy lighting, power windows, seats and door locks operate properly, even the clock.
The engine has been optimized by Midwest Eurosport of Bensenville, with custom intake and exhaust systems. All original components have been retained, are included in the sale, and easily refitted. In addition, Midwest fitted a Turbo style leather shift lever cover and custom wheel center caps fabricated from 356 hood emblems. At the same time, the car was lowered to “rest of world” suspension settings
A few years ago, Beil Auto Upholstery replaced the headliner and the weatherseal at the front of the Targa top was recently replaced.
As you can see this is a prime example and will not disappoint. Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions or need any additional info/pics/etc... Thanks!!
