Need to sell these Recaro Profi XL's. Ordered & waited patiently until they arrived this November for my 991.2
Recaro has a global backlog due to Covid. Certified until 2026. They are absolutely brand new - only taken out of box for the pictures in this Rennlist ad. I paid $2290 total for them - ($1145 ea.)
I'd like to get $1500 for the pair. Would ideally prefer to hand off locally or meet someone half way but would ship at buyers cost. I can no longer use them - traded in my car for GT4 that has the Porsche lightweight bucket seats.

FYI, I recently shipped a pair of recaros from Florida to California for around 350. I used a carrier service, not ups or FedEx, both almost double. They charge by dimension of box and weight. You can save money, but potentially damage the seat if not done right, by fitting both in a single box positioned like shoes in a shoe box.

Bobby - yes they both actually fit in one Recaro box. You just flip one upside down and add any additional bubble padding/packing material accordingly. I had test fitted them like that in case I was planning to keep them in my storage area - because its not that big and I'd need to save space.
Once I had an agreed buyer I was going to present that as an option if they so chose. As some folks would not like it if they were shipped together. to prevent exactly what you said. So I was planning on accommodating whomever buys them and ship as per their preferred method since it will be their dime.
I probably should have gotten shipping estimates before listing them. My apologies.
But I am heading out of town today for work but will be returning the end of the week. I am planning on going to UPS local store this weekend (because its within walking distance) to weigh and get price estimates for shipping. I will ask about the folks zip codes that have asked me to check and let them know.
But if it is as you say UPS is double the price I would be willing to look into any alternative carriers.

I just purchased a single Recaro SPG XL recently for just under $1000, if only this was listed earlier I would have jumped on it.. Some lucky person is going to get a great deal.
