Description:

When I acquired my 2012 997.2 C2S it came with original-build Sport Classic wheels. After 20k miles the clearcoat was discolored / peeling in places.
My local Porsche restoration shop (AAOC - Auto Associates of Canton) recommended painting them in the classic Fuchs style as re-machining and clear coating is a challenge and could result in the same issue down the road.
I got a set of BBS LM-Rs and then brought the OEM set to the shop. When completed, I put them on the car for the photo attached and and realized I prefer the BBS.

Front 8.5" x 19" ET 55 (25 lbs each) with Michelin PS2 N-spec 235/35-19 dated 2817 at 8/32 tread.
Rear 11.5" x 19" ET 67 (29 lbs each) with Michelin PS2 N-spec 295/30-19 dated 1116 and 1216 at 8/32 tread.

I've never seen a set refinished like this in the market so am not sure what to ask. Let's try $4,500 or best reasonable offer?Pick-up preferred - Wheel & Tire Package located in Central CT.
If all you want is the wheels, caps, and stems/sensors, I can have the tires removed and I do have shipping boxes for wheels this size. Shipping to ConUS at Buyer's expense.
Value is based on the wheels, center caps, and stems/sensors because of the date codes on the tires.

Thanks for your interest, but I'll need at least $4k to let these go. A new set is $6k if you can get them and I spent $1k refinishing them because the original clear on the lips was discoloring / peeling. A way to look at this is that the original used set was $3k and they are freshly refinished for $1k by a renowned restoration ship with no waiting.

These wheels looks absolutely gorgeous! I have never seen a set redone like this and the work looks top notch. If I didn't already have a set of Sport Classics, I would jump all over these. There is something about the OEM Sport Classics that just look so "right" to me. The shape/design of the spokes just can't quite be matched by the replicas out there.

I would hold firm at your asking price OP. I know I wouldn't let my wheels go for less than $4/4.5k.

Also, I believe the rears are 11.5" wide, not 11.0". The Sport Classics, along with the Carrera Sport wheels, are the widest non-GT 997 wheels at 11.5".
