This is a factory 944 Turbo Cabriolet built by Porsche in a limited edition run of 528 LHD cars.

Offered only in MY 1991, this is a Swiss specification well optioned Swiss specification car, with limited slip differential, air conditioning, partial leather interior, full power, heated seats, adjustable headlights, and headlight washers as factory options.

In 1991, before the introduction of the 968, Porsche decided to send off the 944 series with the production of a cabriolet version of the successful 250 hp Turbo model.
Approximately 625 units were built, of which 100 were right-hand drive. All were fitted with the 247CV Turbo S M44.52 engine and limited-slip differential.

This car was built for the Swiss market with a chassis number ending in 209.  It has been with me since December 2000, when I personally picked it up in Winterthur, Switzerland. The car is in Barcelona, Spain and has 143,000 original km.

This 944 Turbo Cabriolet is non-metallic glossy black (LY9B), with "classic gray" leather interior. It is sold with its original Design90 M030 wheels in 7.5"x16" and 9x16". It has no modifications to the original configuration except for the front and rear stabilizer bars from the 968 CS M030 package.

The Cup1 rims in the photos are original Porsche and are sold separately for a price to be agreed.  

The car has always been scrupulously maintained, both by myself and at Porsche, and currently has several major overhauls carried out at the Porsche Center Barcelona with the Porsche Classic program, for which I can provide copies of the invoices upon request.

Specifically, three thousand km ago it had a full engine timing belt service complete with an original equipment Porsche water pump and rebuilt steering rack and pump as well. The clutch is also Porsche original equipment and was replaced 5,000 km ago. The air conditioning has been checked and works well.

The convertible top is new and works with the electric mechanism. Also included is its original "tonneau" cover as appears in the photos.
