Description:
2005 Carrera S VIN WP0AB29945S741274. Carrara White Exterior Black Interior. Options include: 342 Heated Front Seats; 405 19” Carrera Classic Wheels; 460 Leather Sport Steering Wheel; 640 Sport Chrono Package; 982 Supple Leather Front Rear; AR Black leather Seats; B4 Carrara White Top; P15 Power Seat Package. Since purchased from third owner 11/06/20 at 93,500 miles, improvements include: complete paint correction and ceramic coating by Dirty Details in Va Beach, center radiator, lowering springs, front and rear sway bars, Michelin Pilot Sport Tires, brake pads, slotted rotors, complete engine rebuild due to bore scoring cylinder one with steel sleeves and Wossner pistons. All receipts included with the sale. Carfax and Experian Reports from 11/20 confirm no damage, and there has been no damage during my ownership. That said, I think there has been some minor repair work on the left rear quarter panel.
96,722 miles currently with 469 miles on new engine during 2,000-mile break in period. Cylinder One had a bore scoring issue, and the only proper repair was a complete rebuild. Bore scoring is a known issue with the 997.1 engines https://www.pca.org/news/cylinder-bo...pair-solutions . For this rebuild, done by Lutzo Kovacyk with LMN Motorsports in Va Beach, we had the block machined at Abacus Racing, also in Va Beach, to accept steel sleeves. Once installed, the steel sleeves were machined to accept the new Wossner pistons. I have pictures and video of the machining process during the entire rebuild process. The installation of steel sleeves eliminates the bore scoring issue completely.
Just lowered the price on my 997 to $45,900. I have purchased a 2023 Macan T CPO from Braman Porsche in Florida which was always the planned replacement for my 997. $45,900 for a 997 S with brand new engine!! Thanks for looking.

I am interested, however as never ashamed to show my stupidity in public, I would ask this here rather than a DM:
When this work is done, are we also curing any potential RMS / IMS issues ? My very little knowledge tells me pre-2009 is where those issues happened.
Absolutely please accept my apology in advance for such a dumb question.🤦🏾♀️
Thank you!
