This is a great price for such a clean and low mileage example - the next owner will be very happy with this purchase.

I’m sure I’ll get some hate for this but personally I think the Spyder is what the 89 Speedster should have been all along. Spyder has the unique and beautiful flowing lines of the 89 Speedster but it adds stellar handling, perfect amount of power, a reasonable to use top and its genuinely lighter. It’s show and ago but not overdone which rarely exists.
Surprising that they haven’t gone up even more in value. This is a really nice example, I’ve seen it a bunch and its been cared for all its life.

I think values of the 987 Spyder will continue to creep up steadily, especially for low mileage examples. I predict within 6 years that average values will exceed 100k, and collector grade Spyder’s will exceed 150k. It’s hard to believe that you’ll be around 20 years of ownership at that time.
Let’s see if Dave is back in a 987 Spyder by 2030!
Which Carplay/camera setup did you go with? I'd love to add those to mine.
