Description:
Never thought the day would come, but I am selling my 7.1 GT3. Thought it'd be a forever car, but just no time to enjoy it. Both kids are older now and both want to come along on drives which necessitates rear seats. Thought I might add seats in as others have done, but instead I'm on the hunt for a driver-spec 993.
VIN is WP0AC29937S792314 and details are searchable via that VIN and also my post history.
Clean California Title in hand. Carfax shows damage history.
Summary - acquired it in 2020 with the intention of doing more HPDE days and given it's miles and history (ie the ding on the Carfax) it seemed like a great entry to the GT world, and I still believe it is. Ended up doing only a few intermediate track days. Has 96k trouble-free miles as it sits, but is just not getting the regular use it deserves. I take it out fortnightly for a run up the freeway to make sure the oil gets to temp. Still has just the two solitary range 1 ignitions over 600 hours ago. Did all the maintenance myself during ownership which was pretty much fluids, filters, and rebuilt the brake calipers (just because I wanted to). Just did new exhaust valve solenoids as the old ones weren't working.
The miles, Carfax, and missing PCCB rotors are the pertinent negatives when comparing it to cars that are usually discussed in this thread. Also, despite what the previous Rennlist ad says, the coolant lines do not appear to be pinned (which is a major oversight by me as I was told they were and I took that at face value). So I'd do the lines at the next major.
I wish I had more info on the carfax damage. I have no pics or history. Prior Rennlist owner did not know and neither did Porsche Monterey when I bought it. Did a deep dive looking at photos from track events in California in the months preceding the date listed but did not get any evidence of this car being at an event.
As well as routine and preventative maintenance (by me), it has the following:
Carbon rear spoiler (OEM included)
GMG adjustable sway bars and Tarrett end links - car is aligned and corner balanced for a 200lb driver, can post the specs later
Girodisc brake caliper studs front and rear
Antigravity 24Ah lithium battery and charger
Wevo engine mounts
Cantrell orange transmission mount inserts
Sharkwerks exhaust tips
Center muffler delete
Bluetooth FM dongle to stream music into PCM, take phone calls etc
Rennline phone mount
Numeric Racing pedals
Freshly refinished Dallas Custom steering wheel
New OEM alcantara gear ****
Two keys, original window sticker, manuals and leather binder
Photos and receipts of the work I've done
OEM indoor cover
Spare front lip (I go through one about every 6-12 months)
Spare carpet with cut outs for roll bar
Date codes on tires are 2019 and 2020. Pilot Sport N2.
The pertinent positives is that it drives so well, is so much fun, and it always gets a smile and thumbs up from passers by. Just last week at school drop off - "Hey man, cool car!". Came out of a coffee shop at 6am a few weeks ago and there were three guys just milling about wanting to have a chat about it. These are definitely special cars!
Giving Rennlist first bite at it before going onto Cars and Bids.
Also open to trades on driver-quality 993s.

All subsequent maintenance following purchase has been by me with the exception of the sway bar installation, alignment and corner balance.

I have some serious offers on the table and this might end up being a regretful sale for me. Already had several people tell me that I'm crazy to sell.
I am a very serious local to CA buyer and a Porsche collector myself. I might be interested to trade one of my air cooled P cars in my collection for the gt3. Feel free to call/text me back at 818 284 9874. Thanks 😊
Also - just swap in back seats - you can probably get a pretty penny for your carpet with the delete and plenty of seats for sale on ebay. I know i’d buy it if it was stone grey carpet.
