Cell phone mounts for trucks
Dash and especially windshield is a long way away in my 2012 F250.
Any recommendations for cell phone mounts, especially for an iPhone 7 Plus?
Would like to have the phone closer than on the dash.
Thanks

This is what I used in my F350. You loosen a bolt for the seat, slip it in, and tighten down. Pretty easy install.

I use mounts from ProClip http://www.proclipusa.com
I have mounts for both my iPhone 7+ and my iPad in the Sierra (mounted in center of console). I have a window mount I use in my daily driver. I'm very happy with all the mounts I've bought from them over the years.

I have a 2013 F250, so basically the same interior I think. I use a ProClip, which places the phone adjacent to your right hand. It's within easy reach and easy to read.

Nope, not at all.
The only negative I find is that it is harder to use your phone for navigation because you have to move your eyes so far away from straight ahead.
That being said, it is the only mount that really worked for me and I now installed a new radio with nav so no problems.

Thanks for the suggestions
Here's what I bought:
https://us.macally.com/products/mcup2xl
Macally Car Cup Holder Phone Mount with a Flexible Extra Long 8" Neck for iPhone 7 / 7 Plus / 6 / 6+, Samsung, etc. (MCUP2XL)
MCUP2XL
Decided to use this as it is pretty easy to remove when I don't need it and it is obscuring my view of the HVAC readout
So far so good
