I am looking at an aluminum enclosed that has black exterior paneling.

One of the reasons I am looking to upgrade to an enclosed is better protection for my car when it is not in use.

I don't want the car baking for weeks at a time in the summer.

I also concerned about high temps creating issues with fuel jugs stored within or r comp and slick tires "heat cycling" each day and night.

Is this a concern relative to a white trailer?

It’s an issue whether your trailer is black or white so you should have some sort of roof vent. The roof should be reflective aluminum but they get dirty over time. I would definitely NOT store jugs with fuel in them in an enclosed trailer. Properly vented empty jugs should be no problem. I think you are overthinking the tire heat cycling issue.

I think whether the trailer is insulated or not matters more than the exterior color. Find out if it's insulated. I paid extra to have mine insulated fully...floors, roof, walls, even the rear ramp door.

It's not insulated.

I would imagine a black trailer would get marginally hotter than a white one, but either way, an uninsulated trailer is going to get toasty on a hot day.

1" thick, foil lined, 4' x 8' sheets at Home Depot worked really well on the ceiling of my black enclosed Trailex. We cut it to fit between the supports and then used heavy duty construction adhesive plus heavy duty silver tape (like wheel weights). It has worked so well that now we are going to do the side walls and doors.

big difference between black and white exteriors, and just as important is to get the roof and walls insulated.
