Default weight capacity for 20 ft enclosed trailer?

I am thinking about transitioning from my open aluminum trailer to a 20 ft enclosed. My 968 weighs about 3000 lbs. A 20 ft enclosed aluminum trailer weighs 3100 lbs, has a carring capacity of 3900 lbs with the GVWR of 7000 lbs.
Is this enough?
Or should i look at a trailer weighing 3700 lbs, carrying capacity 6699 lbs, GVWR 9999 lbs?
thanks
Dave

If u r gonna be towing regulary u dont want to be at capacity. Imho 7k, 5 lug axles r for landscapers. I would go 5k, 6 lug at a minimum. U get higher rated tires, larger brakes and bearings.

There is a sweet spot to matching load capacity to actual weight - if your car is actually 3000lbs without you in it, I think a 10k GVRW trailer is a smart choice. Tools, spares, fuel, extra wheels/tires all add up quickly. I wouldn't want a 10k trailer if I expected to be 5000lbs loaded, but it sounds like you will probably be 7000-7500lbs regularly which will work out well.

The larger axles do not add anywhere near 500lbs though, I think those two trailers must have some other changes between them.

Are you thinking you will have 900 pounds left over for other cargo? Really? The real beauty of an enclosed trailer is that you use it to store your car. And it has maybe extra wheels and tires? Yeah, jack and impact gun for lugs? Maybe 1 or 2 jack stands? And big cooler with drinks and food? And for damn sure loaded with all the stuff you may forget if you need to unload it every time you get home? Still loaded cuz not need to unpack it? Yup, folding chairs, winch and battery, umbrellas, and tools too. Don't forget a broom to sweep the floor. Sound system? USB power ports for charging? Bigger batteries to power an inverter? Wall mounted 115 volt fans?
You will be very Spartan when you get it. That won't last long.
I have a 28 foot gooseneck, 20 feet on the floor plus 8" attic with stuff up there from long ago. Aluminum crutches? Think so, wifeys from an incident long ago.

Get the longest trailer you can comfortably pull and stop. As noted get at least the 5200# axles with E tires. Then fill it w/ stuff. Don't forget the E bike and generator and canopy and more tools and and

Oops, forgot the E scooters. Will you get hurt in a track incident, or hurt buzzing around the paddock with your E scooter? E scooter!!!
