This car is in very good shape and mechanically excellent. It has been aligned right and professionally to produce appropriate tire wear and accommodate a lower ride height. Fuel injectors were recently sent off for flow test, cleaning and re-flow. Oil has been synthetic from day one, oil consumption is not inconsistent with oil cooled cars of this vintage. This car was backed into by a pick-up truck in 2003 prior to my purchasing the car. It was repaired properly as the damage was cosmetic for the most part and limited to the driver's door and drivers front fender. The repair and repaint has stood the test of time and you would not suspect the car has been hit although a close look does reveal the respray. Engine runs strong and solid thru the entire rpm range. Engine does not smoke although it will puff some smoke on start up from time to time, again consistent with an air cooled car of this vintage. A/C works well, better than when new. Automatic top works well and the cover was replaced 9 or 10 years ago. Everything works on this car, the front end is very tight, the steering is tight, the handling is outstanding. Doors close solidly, hood and truck deck lids are solid and the shocks hold. Car is solid. I may have forgotten a thing or two. I've owned and cared for this car for the last 9 years. I have documentation for all of the items referenced in this email. Please PM me for more information. I am asking $31,750 or best offer. This is an honest car I will not get back what I've put into it. It has been a labor of love and when you see it you won't be disappointed.
