Default SOLD!....2005 997s with X-51...one of a kind

Year: 2005
Make: Porsche
Model: 0
Mileage (numbers only please): 81500
Color: Arctic Silver
Price (no $ sign please): $46000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (Region): Midwestern
Body Style: Coupe
Transmission Type: Manual - 6 speed
2 or 4 Wheel Drive?: 2 Wheel Drive
Engine Type: Fuel Injection
Stereo System: AM-FM CD

The car is sold

The car is awesome and I love it but I recently purchased an Aston Martin Vanquish that has been in my family for 10 years. I am torn about selling but I put under 5000 miles on this car in 2 years and splitting time with the Aston would be even less per car. Asking $46k

2005 C2S in Arctic Silver with 81,500 miles (X-51 motor installed at 46k)so about 36k on motor, Sport Chrono, Nav, PASM, CD changer
Also comes with new in box uninstalled Brembo rotors front and rear, a few sets of Hawk brake pads, Function first "shift right"shifter and street trans mounts. Also a second set of tires with 500 miles that came off a set of wheels that I had on the car at one time and sold(Potenza S-04 Pole Positions). Also a Durametric Enthusiast version

Upgrades:
X-51 crate motor installed in 2010. Durametric shows some overrevs earlier in the cars life so I figure the original owner killed the original motor with a mis shift
Factory Aerokit front
Getty Ducktail
Tubi exhaust and X-51 headers
GT3RS OEM factory front wheel arches (epoxied on, nothing cut)
OEM Factory Widebody Sport Classic rims(classic Fuchs look)
Champion Werks 1 Carbon Air Box
GT3RS susp with PASM
Champion Motorsports control arms and RSS bushings
GT3 Sport seats with Alacantera
GT3 Alacantera steering wheel, console cover and handbrake
GT3 Carbon/Alacantera shifter
GIAC tune by Champion
SSK
Red Brake/tail lights
Clear side markers
DAShield hood protector

Based on the upgrades and some history from Champion, it appears that the original owner was trying to replicate Champion Motorsports F77 package over time. When I purchased the car it also had the Aerokit rear spoiler and some Kinesis(Champion) wheels. I decided to go with the modern retro look instead.

Not interested in trades unless it is a well optioned Macan GTS or Turbo that would become a daily driver for me if I sell this

when my c2s motors blew I was pushing Porsche to give me the x51 block as they only had standard short blocks available.

the x51 got better sport cams and intake

nice car!

Great look. Was the IMS upgraded?

I can't confirm that but a new crate motor in 2010 is probably OK.

Looks really nice. I like the fact that it has a crate motor from 2010. The ducktail looks great too. Do you have service records and modern over-rev report? Do you have the factory wheels by any chance? GLWS

I have a durametric Enthusiast version for this car and based on the hour that the over revs happened, it was a long time ago prior to the new motor. Nothing since then. I do not have the original Wheels. According to the build sheet they were just the lobster claws which do not cost much if you really wanted the original Wheels

What would you estimate HP to be? With GT3 suspension, does it ride really stiff all the time, or does the PASM soften it up in "normal" mode?

If I recall, Champion had the estimated horsepower with all of these upgrades and this x51 motor somewhere around 420? The ride is fairly stiff. Since I've never driven back to back with a non GT3 suspension, it's hard for me to say how much stiffer it is.
