Default 2007 Carrera S w/Extended Warranty

It’s time to sell my 3rd Carrera, a 2007 911S with a 6 speed manual transmission. 10 months left on Platinum Warranty. This is a straight, clean no stories car. In addition to the usual standard equipment it also has full clear bra, blue tooth and Eibach springs to bring the ride height down to “normal.” PM me to discuss.
She’s a beauty!

48,300 miles

Clean interior w/ white dials

Would like $48K, but the buyer sets the actual price.

I'd say you're many $K north of market in your asking. Really nice car though and selfishly I hope you get it!!! Good luck!

Default Buyer sets the price

Thanks for the reply. I searched Autotrader within 500 miles of me for ‘06-‘08 997 with under 60K miles (Los Angeles) and manual transmission. There were 5 priced from $42K - $50K. Some have “stories.” So yes, $48K is toward the high end of the asking price around here. None came with a warranty, and is a CA car.

So we we shall see, I’ll certainly listen to offers. Buyers set the market, not the sellers.

AutoTrader and Cars com have plenty of listings in your price range and those cars sit. And sit, and sit. If you want a buyer, be prepared to take a substantial amount off your asking price. Either way, you're correct: it's your car and the buyers set the price. You have to start high and you should get maximum value that way. There are a lot of 997.2's that are in the same area price-wise (definitely priced higher than your car but in the ballpark) that will go first. Buyers will extend their budget to get into them over the .1 is what I've noticed. Just trying to help... I love the color combo on your car. I'm sure it's been well cared for and the new buyer will be in good hands. The complete clear bra and extended warranty will give you a sure leg up over other 997.1 sellers. GLWS!

I sold my 2007 Carrera S with 30k miles 4 years ago for $45K. It had more options as well. The prices might have gone up a little to be honest.

My neighbor bought his '07 C2S with only 17K miles a year ago for $51K It has many more options; including some exclusive options. Did you see the '07 C2S on BaT back in January which sold for $50K? It had the similar mileage as yours but had X-51, PCCB's and virtually every other desirable option. If you're car was ultra low mileage than maybe you could get $48K but I would think your's should be listed at $45K and expect to sell it at around $40-42K. I'd be very curious to see as I;m very much in the market right now so I'm watching prices like a hawk.

Default $45K? Ok, $45K

It had not occurred to me that the difference between 45 and 48 was significant in terms of discouraging interest in the car. If a $45,000 asking price moves the needle to generate real interest From a real buyer and generates an offer, I’m good with that.

I hear you and agree. I suspect that many people could be put off and don't want to insult you with what could be considered as a 'low ball' offer.

Agreed. I watch this market, and similar cars go anywhere from $37-41k. This is also a very slow time of year, which doesn't help. You have to figure there is around a $12,000 price delta between this car and a similar mileage 997.2 (See Fyn's 60k mile 997.2 C2S for $51,000 listed here).

You are in California, which definitely helps right now. This is a lot of car for $40k.

OP, I just sold my 07. Had all sorts of "offers". One guy told me about how he "aggressively tracks" the prices on BAT...don't listen to these people. BAT adds 5% buyers fee., so you see low prices coming out of there. A 45k car adding 2250 to it ends up being deemed pricey. Put it on eBay (lots of exposure) AT, and here. Just be patient and I am sure you can strike a deal. GL

It truely is. It’s a fantastic car. Of the three very different Carreras I’ve owned, (993 cab, 997.2 GTS, 997.1 S) this one is my favorite.

Did i I mention I have the OEM cover, trickle charger and the Redline Radar Detector is hardwired in? This deal just keeps getting more attractive. ;-)
