I just picked up my new 2018 SQ5 and if you're looking for a sporty mid-size SUV, this one is hard to beat. I love Porsche but the SQ5 seems like a better value over the Macan which was my only other choice. I went with Daytona gray pearl effect exterior, Audi cockpit and navigation, fine nappa leather black interior with the upgraded diamond stitched seats, Bang and Olufsen 19 speaker stereo, carbon atlas inlays interior. The build quality is fantastic. The car is FAST.

My wife loves her SQ5. However, the 'billboard' nav screen on the new one is a no-go for her.
Fine with me, I just got a 3-year extended warranty on our current one!

I do love the exterior color though!! Big thumbs up! The dealer here tends to order black, white, and gray. Yawn.

Before I actually owned the car the billboard navigation/information screen was one feature that bothered me but I just accepted it since so many other features were outstanding. The upgraded seats, flat bottom steering wheel, and Bang & Olufsen stereo are great. Now that I've had the car for a couple of weeks I have ZERO complaints about the billboard screen. In stock advertisement photos it looks less than appealing, but when you are actually sitting in the driver seat (or any other seat) the screen is awesome. The CLARITY and crisp resolution of the virtual cockpit and infotainment screen is amazing. I don't think anyone has better.

My wife was ready to put a deposit down on a S5 cab until she saw the billboard screen in that.

No sale. Its quite a polarizing feature you either love it or hate it.

The 2019 A6 and A7 will have the screen built in to the middle dash area, no more flipping up. Am hoping the 5 series follows suit for 2019

Yes, the residuals and money factor are pretty fair. S5 SB and Q5/SQ5 carry best residuals in the Audi range.
