Hey, FoodAngel and I have decided it is time to part with this family heirloom vehicle! Originally owned by FoodAngel's dad, he sold this wagon to us 3 or so years ago and we have owned it since. Never in an accident, the car is a VERY RARE 5 speed manual E39 BMW wagon! If you are into these cars, this is an opportunity to grab one.

I re-did the entire suspension about a year ago with Bilstein HD shocks, new bushings, arms, bearings. I also put in a new water pump, radiator, and hoses.

The car has an ABS warning issue which I have not looked into and as such the traction control currently doesn't work. I think it may have a leak around the sunroof. I am also still chasing a coolant leak somewhere.

All this said, if you are into these cars, you may want to check this one out. Let me know if you're interested.

GLWS. I have a 528it manual and love it. They call it the "unicorn" as its so hard to fine...especially with reasonable miles.

Wow. Just when I dropped the e39 wagon off of my potential next cars list. Might have to put it back on and consider this.

Do you see any coolant residue under the car anywhere?

Youngn, not that I've seen. I'm suspecting it is a head gasket issue. The car has been parked since this cropped up with very occasional use. We haven't wanted to part with the car but I haven't had time to chase the problem, either. It is such a sweet spot of a car, it is hard to sell! But it does have some things that need to be fixed on it, as I mentioned.

U using iOS? At the top , second header on the right side..light grey arrow, click that and it loads the desktop version of the add within the app. Doesn't work well for me on iPhone anymore but fine on iPad.
