Just curious why sellers post "one owner" if they are the second owner? Makes no sense - if this is a dealer then it isn't a one owner car anymore. Semantics?

Because licensed car dealers are not owners, that is their business. They sell cars. Get it?

They take title to the car - hence they are the 2nd owner. You are not buying from the first owner in that case - they ceased being owners when the dealer took the car. Get it?

Then there is no such thing as a one owner car. Because cars are typically sold by dealers. So you believe that a brand new car purchased from a Porsche dealer is a two owner car from the get go? No, of course not.

This is not true. The dealer provides the buyer a MSO from the manufacturer--this is not a title. The buyer of a new car from a dealer is the first titled owner--hence one owner. Unless you want to consider the manufacturer the first owner

One owner '69 car with new CA plates? They don't look like dealer plates. I wonder what the real story is with this car?

Can't believe the pricing on these now. Had a chance to purchase a near identical car (except black interior) for $15,000 a few years ago. Regretting that decision now.
