Porsche 1996 993 Turbo, Polar Silver, Flamenco Red Interior US$104,500K

Moving on to a .2 GT3 RS! 71k miles. Price is with stock turbo twists. Both seats reupholstered 2 years ago in full leather. 19” genuine RUF rims, excellent condition with low mileage on tires, also available for $3K. I consider this car to be cosmetically very clean and a solid, up to date driver’s car. Tracked for two days for Driver’s Ed. No accident history - CarProof attached. Car located in Vancouver.

Genuine enquiries and PPI’s welcomed.

I acquired the car from a private seller in Houston in mid 2010 with 53k miles on it which might ease the reimportation process.

The bad:
• slight lower valve cover gasket leak, driver’s side (1 drop on floor approx every few weeks). Will be addressed in the next week or so by Mike J.
• body shop reports that some panels have been repainted on the car – no history on this. Mike J and I have been under this car dozens of times and have not seen any evidence of accident damage.

The good & improvements to date:
• recent leakdown <4% on all cylinders
• Bumperette delete/clear corner conversion, bumper resprayed
• headlights replaced with OEM units (were opaque)
• clear bra of entire front of car including bumper, entire hood, fenders
• replaced trunk liner with OEM Porsche carpet
• Door strap repaired driver’s side.
• Front end alignment
• Clutch slave and accumulator replaced
• Fuel pump replaced
• Replaced e-brake handle/tray, gear shift, and replaced cassette holder all with carbon fiber components (Marcus Buehler, Germany)
• Reupholstered entire front drivers & passenger seats in leather; replaced seat foams at same time ($3500) Pacific Autotrim
• repainted brake calipers and rotor hats.
• New hub centre crests (alloy) all wheels (turbo twists).
• Lower valve cover gaskets replaced; missing heat shields installed (not engine tray).
• Low temp fan resistor replaced.
• Pedal set and floor boards (Rennline), stock parts come with car.
• Custom installed radar detector & front/rear laser jammer (Passport - $2500).
• New shift boot (Flamenco red leather)
• Mufflers modified by Mike J and Fabspeed tips

Jan/11: oil and filters changed.

2012:
• 19” RUF rims (brand new)
• 19” tires – Michelin pilot sport 2 ultra high performance all seasons
• Mufflers modified – sound similar to Fisters (stock mufflers also available)
• Walrod bushings installed in lower control arms
• Front protection bar installed
• New engine belts

January /12 - Major service at 62k miles
• Oil/filter change – V-twin – sent to Blackstone Labs – normal, report available
• Trans and front diff changed – sent to Blackstone Labs – normal, report available
• Brake fluid changed
• Fuel, air, pollen filters & distributor replaced
• Golden rod installed (not SSK)
• UMW oil return lines installed (not check valves, but I have a set).
• 4 wheel alignment, corner balance & ride height adjustment at Levitt (Gerry).

Sept 29/13
• Replaced front brake pads (OEM) & brake fluid.
• manual fan switch installed centre console

Service Nov 30/13 – 69k miles
• Engine oil (V-Twin) & filters –sent to Blackstone Lab – normal - report avail
• Transmission Fluid (not front diff) – sent to Blackstone – normal.
• used Porsche OEM transm fluid instead of Delvac - better!
• spark plugs replaced (Bosch)

May/14 – all ignition leads replaced (one had cracked at plug end) – OEM

Aug/14
• replaced battery
• pinned tie rods.

I have performed the maintenance on this car with Mark for the last few years - the car is a great example and Mark is both **** about keeping the car in top shape, and a straight shooter. Hopefully it goes to another Rennlister!

Cheers,

Mike

Wow - great, great looking and stellar records/maintenance. Really stunning "driver". Car looks lowered or is it the 19" wheels? Upgraded suspension? GLWS!

Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. Car is on Bilstein HD's and is slightly lowered at the front as the normal, slightly nose high stance of these cars wasn't suiting me aesthetically .

RUF's are 19".
