Posting on behalf of a fellow car junkie - please feel free to reach out to Scott or myself if you have any questions. I can verify that this is likely the cleanest 1 Series M available.

Onto the details from Scott (the Seller):

I bought the 1M on Dec 13th, 2012 and I can honestly say this has been the best car I've ever owned (and I've owned 14 so far now). The balance of comfort and performance, classiness and sportscar-ness is really just right. I have no complaints.

On to the car itself -- I bought it from a dealer in Texas (1 prior owner) when it had 7,858 miles on it. I had it shipped to California where I've put approximately 10,000 miles on it over the course of the last two years. It's always garage-kept (day and night), and meticulously detailed by yours truly. Because this is a later-production 1M, it still has a full year of bumper-to-bumper factory warranty remaining. I've documented the full maintenance history, which is also on-file with BMW. This is a very clean car with no stories, and no accidents. None of the wheels have any curb rash, and there are no digs or dents anywhere. The only reason I'm selling is because I have a new car on the way and don't have a 3 car garage.

Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have.

Always wanted a 1m when it came out. Good time to sell with the possible making of the M2

Cool car but am I seeing this correct, you're selling it for more then when it was new? Not trying to be rude just a question.
Awesome cars, I was lucky enough to drive one with a flash on it.

....
That's what the market has been. The 1M seems to have been an instant collector car that started appreciating almost from day 1. Quite a few were up in the $60k range for a while.

The market on these has been above MSRP for some time for cars with reasonable miles. Even cars with 40k+ miles are fetching close to 50k. I bought one with 2800 miles on it, drove it to 19k miles and sold it for exactly the same amount I bought it for. Still regret ever selling, fantastic car.

Congrats on the quick sale!

I think the market value of the 1M will dip briefly when the M2 hype builds as it is released but I bet it will start to appreciate back up after the novelty of the M2 goes away. For me, the 1M is a lifetime car!

Great car. All the good things about the M without the weight. Plus I believe a true MT, not derived from the DCT. Well deserved quick sale. Way better than a C63 imo.

The new BMW 235 m sport package provides much of what the 1M was all about with updates. A nice choice.
