Rennlist Crew,
We just acquired this 2005 Turbo S Coupe and it is a no stories/issue car. As most of you know not many coupes were brought to the US for the last run of 996 T S's. Most were Cabs. The car is in EXCELLENT overall condition and drives as a Turbo S should. Tight and fast. It is a one owner local car and has never been abused or smoked in. Has all factory paint along with four new tires, drive belt, 30k service, trans service, chin spoiler, new windshield and alignment. We have a book of about 100 pages dedicated to the car and what has been done to it. Includes the first internet listing when bought new, servicing, articles, etc. We do not have the original 18 inch Techno wheels. Has era correct Techarts.

Should the "turbo" lettering in the tach state "turbo S"?

Maybe someone just added the "S" on the boot?

shouldn't there be at least some carbon fiber in there too?
no engine shot, no shot of the new chin spoiler...those have to be the worst pictures I have ever seen a Porsche dealer put up.

When you click on the VIN in the first post, it comes up as a turbo S

https://rennlist.com/forums/vindecod...AB29905S685222

Maybe the tach/instrument was changed out

Aesthetically, weird to see the "turbo S" on the center dash and only "turbo" on the tach

It is nice they posted the car here for us to see first. However it bugs me when they post pictures of the car still dirty. Vacuum it out and detail it please.

It is a legit Turbo S.
Odd that the tach shows 'Turbo'. I have not seen that before.

Interesting. I have a 2005 turbo S coupe that's identical including sport techno's (I run hre r40's though) but with sport seats. My car has "Turbo S" on the tach (photo attached) so strange this one doesn't.
