This has been my daily driver for the past 3-1/2 years and has never let me down. Excellent overall condition, 203,700 miles. I'm the 3rd owner - previous 2 were PCA/Rennlist members. Extensive records show that this car was very well maintained. No accidents, clean CarFax. No known rust, and is 99% stock.

Rare combination of Stone Grey Metallic with beige interior (most are black). I had the seats re-furbished last year and chose to replace the center leather portion with perforated suede - looks great and is more like real sport seats that are not slippery like leather (and warmer in winter, too). I've installed a Momo sterring wheel, but also have the original leather one that is in perfect condition. Previous owner installed the factory option sport suspension adjustable Konis, and a Design 1 Racing short shifter.

From 10 ft. the body and paint look like a 9 out of 10. The clearcoat is very shiny as i've applied Griots Paint Sealant every 8-10 months. Close inspection reveals normal stone chips and minor blemishes making it more of a 7.5 out of 10. No dents. The interior fabulous - a 9 out of 10 as you can see in the photos, and THE DASH IS PERFECT - NO CRACKS! Everything works, from the sun roof to the digital clock.

The engine runs great and starts right up - never had any problems with it. Transmission shifts well with no synchro grinding. The clutch is old (was told it was last replaced at 110k miles), but works well under normal conditions. It has occasionally chattered on hot days in stop and go traffic. This has only happened a half dozen times and has not gotten worse in the time i've owned the car.

I'm only selling because my job will now require me to drive many more miles, and i just don't want to put 15k miles per year on such a nice 944. I honestly can't think of a cooler car you can own for under $5,000!

Very nice 944, when was the last time belt was done/cam guides?

Timing belt was changed at 177k miles. I have the receipt. Also just serviced the A/C system and had the Condenser replaced.

Just located the receipt, the Timing Belt Service at 177k included Timing Belt, Balance Shaft Belt, Water Pump and belt, Power Steering Belt, A/C Alternator Belt, Auxiliary Shaft Roller, Balance Shaft Tensioner.

Other recent service highlights include:
- A/C service and new Condenser at 203k miles
- Rear brake pads and rotors at 203k miles
- Front brake pads and rotors at 189k miles
- Continental Extreme Contact tires and alignment at 189k miles
- steering rack and high pressure hose replaced at 189k miles (due to leak)

Hard to believe it has over 200k miles. Great one for someone that is going to drive it every day. With the mileage though, I wouldn't worry about driving it 15k miles a year. Just take care of it and drive it until the wheels fall off.

It was brought to my attention that the seats appear to be stained in the photos. What you are seeing I'd the nap of the suede in brushed in different directions which causes it to appear to change color. The seats definitely have no staining or soiling and the suede is only 7 months old.

^I would unless its a financial decision to sell =your better off to enjoy the fruits of your labor and hey it has over 200k your not going to hurt the value. I had a couple 944s including an 87 yours is tempting.

I believe this 944 coupe was my car; owned since new for twenty years, the sold to a fellow Rennlist'r.
The dashboard was replaced in '99 or so, it's OEM. The coupe was sold in excellent condition; all 6 OE Factory binders, etc. The coupe needed nothing. The coupe is/was in excellent condition. Really nice color combo.. Understated.
