For sale is a 1990 Porsche 944 S2. This car has a 5.7L LS1 v8 from a 2001 Firebird installed in it. You have probably seen "almost finished" swap cars that "just need a few things". This car is DONE. Everything works! Ice cold A/C, heat that will melt your socks off. All instruments work correctly, no strange dash lights, no confusing problems. Hop in and start it up! This is a beautiful car that gets attention wherever it goes.

The engine has a mild cam and full custom intake and exhaust, should be an easy 400rwhp. Connected to an A0R transaxle (Turbo S, the best transaxle made for these cars) with a LSD and external cooling, plus an N/A 5th gear for highway cruising.

The car is lowered with Koni yellows, 300# springs and 28mm torsion bars, M030 968 sway bars, and handles extremely well.

I have driven the car in autocross and DE events on occasion, but the car is not a track rat. It has served "daily driver" duties and been a weekend car since I've owned it. This car is ready for whatever you'd like to do with it. I would not hesitate to drive it across the country or enter it in a race.

The car currently gets in the range of 22-24 mpg on the highway and I suspect the current tune is a little on the rich side (with a good tune you can probably net ~26mpg).

In spite of the mileage on the odometer itself, everything on the car is under 100k miles and most of it is much lower than that. Contact me or post here for more info!

Car is located in northern New Mexico. Full photos can be seen here: https://goo.gl/photos/UChGmtxiquXu5Y4JA

I'm going to take lots of high-quality pictures of it this Saturday, so i'll get those up ASAP. I also have some pretty extensive documentation of all the modifications. I'll shoot you a PM with my contact info!

--edit--it appears I can't PM you because you only have 1 post. Feel free to drop me an email at ccollord-at-hotmail-dot-com (remove the dashes)

The picture of the engine compartment is actually quite dated, the car currently has a hydroboost brake booster and I switched to aerocatch latches to improve the air intake.

Added more recent photos, and a link with a full set of photos. I also have a document with complete information about what has been done to the car, I can email it to anyone interested.

In the process of getting the car ready for sale I noticed that the rear passenger tire is worn badly, due to a poor alignment on that corner (the alignment on the rest of the car is spot-on!). The final selling price will be adjusted to cover the cost of alignment and tire replacement.

Well, it's not sold until I have the money and the car is gone, but it's definitely looking like it
