Not that it justifies the premium, but the R is 2 secs faster per lap and all the reviewers have said it's like day and night compared to the non-R

They are selling on eBay fine.. I have only seen preorders sell on eBay. Last one was 125k. Cheapest one on autotrader is 115k with some miles. Wasn't really a mustang guy until this car, I don't know a mustang forum.. Im a Porsche guy and just a fast car on-track, kind of guy. I've never sold anything on eBay. Are those valid reasons?

Anyways.. Thank you guys for looking and all of the kind comments. I have a few people that are seriously interested and hoping to finalize a deal today..

Just sent a PM to a friend who may be interested. I want him to buy it then flip it to me in a year when I'm done saving for daughters' college costs. I really want one of these. :-)

All the real buyers are on this forum. I sold my Ford GT here last year. I had it on autotrader, ebay and fordgtforum.com.

Default Lame of Ford

This is what pisses me off about Ford's pricing and marketing strategy for these cars. Why bother nominally pricing them reasonably. Dealers gouge us by marking them up $30k plus. Why not just price them at $95k so I don't have to listen to bull**** press reviews gushing about the performance "value". Porsche does this **** too with the GT3 and 4. Make more of them!

That's a fair way of putting it. $178k for a Mustang. Mr. Barnum would be proud.

You're dreaming. Mustang GT at 727HP for $40k, you still have $60-$85k left in your pocket to close the gaps between the GT and GTR.

Hmm for $100K, would I rather have this Ford Mustang or a mint 997TT with less than 5K miles on it...

Let's see here...which one has better build quality, uses higher quality materials, is faster, and will depreciate less....hmm.
