::The good!::
Car has about 130500 miles on it, and recently has had a new timing belt, water pump, and steering rack installed. The odometer gear was replaced prophylactically about 1000 miles ago. Within the past 30000 miles, the front brakes, front struts, rear shocks, swaybar bushings, and radiator have also all been replaced. Cruise control works, all the lights work (including the light behind the clock). Original Blaupunkt radio. No modifications.
The interior is in great shape - leather is clean, tight, and intact. Seats are gorgeous, carpets are clean.
::The bad::
Dash cracking is minimal - no major cracks, only little ones near some of the vents.
The car did drop its timing belt at around 70k miles, and a new head was installed.
AC blows, but not cold :-\
Usual paint chips on the front end - typical of 130k miles. Chip guars around the wheel wells have some nice patina.
::The history::
I'm the third owner, and have been driving the 944 for about a year. The car has always been a California car, and maintenance records go back to 1991; the original owner's manual has service stamps dating back to the car's purchase. Most of the maintenance has been done at either Carlsen Porsche in the Bay Area and Tony & Bros German Car Maintenance in Sunnyvale. Car passed smog no problem for 2016. I have too many cars and not enough space - sad to see this one go!
::The ask::
Asking for $9K OBO for a clean, driver's 944S. PPI's are welcome. Happy to provide additional photos.

Hello there,
Looks real nice for the mileage that's on it. Not a big fan of the Diamond blue, as it takes on a purple-ish hue in certain lights....but it is hard to find a nicely taken care of S these days. I like the fact that it does not have the option side molding, and it appears real clean and unmolested. So with that ramble being said, could I get some more info from you on it.
Could you snap a photo of the option sticker? It is located under the rear carpet, right between the rear tail lights. a few more shots of the interior would be helpful, and a shot taken from each corner of the exterior {just like you would do for insurance proof of condition} a total of at least 4.
Looks like the center console lid is still in place, is the plastic hinge still intact, most break by around 90k miles.
Was the balance shaft belt and front engine seals done at the same time as the timing belt/water pump service?
Any known accident history?
Clean, clear title in hand ready for immediate sale?
I'm up in the Seattle area, so I need as much detail as possible, prior to deciding on flying down to see your car. I have no problem with a road trip for the right car, this would not be my first time doing so. Bought a motorcycle from Canada, a car from Portland and a travel trailer from Evansville Indiana so.....

Wow, no rub strips and one of my all time favorite Porsche colors (have an 87 928 this color).
Seeing cars like this for sale really lowers the motivation to get my 944S back together.
Good luck with the sale, wish I had room and not my own 944S to re-assemble.
