I've owned this car for the last 9 years and put ~ 30K miles on it since I have owned it. The car is "chipped" taking it up to just under 300 HP. I had the "top end" (& timing belt) rebuilt ~ 2 years ago and I have put ~ 2K miles on it since. Almost all work on this car has been done by Auto Edge in Mahtomedi, MN (Twin Cities suburb). The engine is tight, the turbo is strong, the clutch was replaced right before I bought it @ ~70K miles (and it feels fresh). Tires have less than 1K miles on them, battery is new this year.
Now for the stuff that is needed for this to be in "perfect shape". There is a ding over the front wheel well where a ladder fell on it in the garage and I have included a picture of this (at this same time the windshield was broken, so the positive side of this is that has a fresh OEM windshield). The second thing wrong is it does not blow cold air. I had the compressor replaced and then found out the problem was with the coil at which point I decided to live without AC (lesson learned here, I took it to a shop closer to my house based on a PCA pres recommendation and I kick myself for not driving the extra distance to Auto Edge for proper diagnosis & repair...I have never made this mistake again!). I should also mention that the breaks sometimes squeek. The are 100% in perfect condition, but those big old breaks have been enhanced with cryogenically treated rotors and some pretty aggressive Blackhawk pads. If it bothers you, putting softer pads in should do the trick.
The car is pictured with rims that are a bit more modern than the OEM. I still have the OEM and if there was desire to swap them or buy both this could be negotiated.
The car has never been crashed, however I did have a tall pickup back into my car at a stoplight (I was so low he could not see me). He put a gash in the front hood/clip, both were replaced with OEM parts. Did I mention the car has been lowered? It is also 4 corner balanced with driver weight of 225.
There are a few other things I can pass along to anyone interested and I have most of the maintenance records.
I am offering this up at a very reasonable price looking to sell this pretty quick (I have too many cars). I (and the car) am located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis. If you are interested, please drop me a note.
Thanks!

I just noticed I and mistakenly listed this as a 1950 944 t (951), it is a 1989, while correcting this I also reduced the price $500. If I can't get any interest soon I will start listing it locally. Thanks! - scott -
